Overview
This micro-credential will prepare students on two fronts: First, it will prepare them to meet the increasing demand for AI-literate employees on the part of prospective employers in a variety of industries. Second, it will prepare students to engage AI-driven technologies not only productively but also in an ethical, human-centered way that facilitates continued intellectual growth.
Program Learning Outcomes
The learning outcomes for this Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Liberal Arts microcredential are:
1. AI Literacy. Understand how AI platforms are leveraged to engage in problem-solving and be able to design AI solutions to problems related to one’s discipline/major.
2. AI Criticism. Understand philosophical, societal, and ethical issues, impacts, and consequences of AI.
3. AI Integration. Understand how to communicate AI concepts across disciplines.
