Readmission

Students who have been absent from Carroll College for more than two years are required to complete an application for readmission, available from the Office of Admission. A student who has attended another college or university since withdrawing from Carroll College must submit an official transcript from each institution to the Office of Admission before the application is considered. Students who are readmitted to Carroll will continue with the academic standing they held during their last term of attendance. Generally, if a student interrupts attendance, they must graduate under the requirements in effect at the time of re-admission.

Students who seek to re-enroll within two years—measured from the last day of their previous term to the first day of their return term—and who left in good academic standing will return under their original catalog year. Students absent for more than two years will follow the catalog in effect at the time of readmission, unless program-specific accreditation requirements require otherwise. The Registrar’s Office will determine the applicable catalog year, in consultation with the academic department when needed.  Students who believe their circumstances warrant an exception may submit a written request for review to the Registrar’s Office.
