CATH-COCURR: Co-Curricular Activities

Co-Curriculars are learning opportunities which completement and advance the student's knowledge of Catholic culture and history. Catholic Studies Majors and Minors must participate in co-curricular activities. To graduate from the program, majors must complete two activities per academic semester, while minors must complete two per academic year. Examples of co-curricular activities include relevant academic lectures (including program sponsored events), special liturgical events, visits to Catholic cultural and historical sites, art galleries, Campus Ministry events and Independent Study. Further information is available from the Program director. Activities will be recorded once during the student's senior year, in a 0-credit required course, called CATH COCURR. With the submission, students will include brief (1-2 paragraphs) reflection of how their activities contributed to their understanding of Catholic Studies, and/or experiences in their classes.
