In this course, you will work on your critical analysis and writing skills and learn the rhetorical skills necessary to become skilled advocates. This course will focus on detailed analysis of the 2025-2026 American Moot Court Association problem which includes two constitutional law areas - free speech (1st Amendment) and equal protection (14th Amendment) which you will brief and argue to a “moot” Supreme Court. If selected for the Moot Court Team travel squad, you will travel to compete in an American Moot Court Association regional competition and, if applicable, national competition. This course promises to take you out of your comfort zone, making you more effective advocates and professionals.
