- All business majors and minors must earn a grade of “C-” or better in all required courses.
- In addition to Carroll’s regional accreditation, the Business Department has received specialized business accreditation through IACBE for the degrees in Business: Accounting & Strategic Finance, Business: Financial Planning, and Business: Management & Marketing. Students graduating with these majors take a comprehensive exam at the end of their curriculum.
- Optional course electives within the business majors may be double counted to fulfill Core requirements or requirements for other academic majors and still count within a business major. Where optional course electives exist, courses cannot be double counted to fulfill requirements in more than one area in the business majors, minors, or certificate programs.
- Students cannot earn both a Business: Management & Marketing major and a Business Administration minor or Marketing minor.
